Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Kape Talk's website, mobile application, or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Description of service

Kape Talk provides faith-based digital tools including daily Scripture, AI-assisted devotionals, conversational Bible study features, prayer journaling, and related content. Features may change over time as we improve the product.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use at support@kapetalk.com.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the integrity of the Services
• Misrepresent AI-generated content as professional pastoral or medical advice
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights

5. AI-generated content disclaimer

Conversational and devotional content may be generated using automated systems. While we strive for biblical thoughtfulness, AI responses may contain errors and should not replace personal study, pastoral counsel, or professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating content in light of Scripture and your own discernment.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Prices are listed at purchase and may change with reasonable notice. Refunds are handled according to the platform through which you subscribed (e.g., App Store or Google Play) or our written refund policy for web subscriptions.

7. Intellectual property

Kape Talk and its logos, design, software, and original content are owned by Kape Talk or its licensors. Bible text may be subject to separate translation copyrights and used under applicable licenses. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Services. You represent that you have the rights to submit such content.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Services or other users. Upon termination, provisions that by nature should survive will remain in effect.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KAPE TALKSHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections apply in your jurisdiction.
